Johnston McLamb Selects Q2 Marketing for
Public Relations
Consulting firm looks to leverage PR for continued growth
Chantilly, VA—Management and technology consulting firm Johnston McLamb has selected Q2 Marketing for a 12-month public relations program aimed at helping the government contractor continue its impressive growth trajectory.
Johnston McLamb has delivered innovative solutions to federal agencies and the private sector since 1991. Earlier this year, they announced their 2008 earnings reached $30.1 million, a 56% increase over 2007 earnings.
The objective of the PR program is to raise Johnston McLamb’s profile outside their loyal customer and partner base as they seek to continue to expand their influence. Q2 Marketing is also currently designing a new web site for the company. Included in the web project is a keyword and search engine optimization (SEO) campaign to drive traffic to the new web site, particularly for such solutions as business intelligence, geospatial intelligence, visualization solutions, and enterprise strategy and modernization.
In 2006, Q2 was selected by Johnston McLamb to help create a marketing strategy based on market research, using a suite of tactics from the Q2 Strategy Development Process (QSDP). Q2 then completed a corporate rebrand and developed collateral for the company.
